Writing Center

Mission:

To help students become more insightful, concise, resourceful writers in all stages of the writing process.

Philosophy:

There are copy editors and there are coaches. Copy editors fix what you write. A coach will listen, ask tough questions and lead you to the answers. We are coaches.

Goals:

To encourage communication between instructors and students, collaborate with instructors on addressing student needs, provide students with a professional coach-writer relationship and increase the self-efficacy and confidence of every student we coach.
